WOW!!!!
I was not expecting 22+ girls out for tryouts tonight! It is very exciting to see so many girls interested in basketball :)
I will add that any grade 10 girls interested in playing senior bball should tryout for the team. They are short players and are interested in having any grade 10 girls out to practices.
Our next tryout is TOMORROW 3:30-5:30pm! This is an important tryout and you should be there!
Please check out the blog and look at some videos! You should take time to go over the fundamentals...as they are all important and we will be working on them in tryouts and practices.
Tomorrow we will be working on some of these...
lay-ups
jump shots
drop steps
rebounding
dribbling-crossovers
dribbling- reverse/spin
free throws
We NEED girls that are committed! So please let me know if you are involved in other sports or activities that will take you away from basketball.
